DD Superlight is perhaps the world’s lightest hammock. That’s what DD Hammocks calls their Superlight anyway. I think that those awful net hammocks may be lighter, but this is a fantastic product for the lightweight – the hammock weighs only 270g (excl. Bag and tree hugger)! (And is small enough to fit in a larger pocket.)
The material is light and durable “parachute fabric” (high strength ultra-fine ripstop nylon). Comes with Whoopie Suspension System (2 x 2m-long Whoopie Slings, 2 x Soft-Shackle Carabiners and 2 x 2m Tree Huggers).
Note that this is only the hammock – for a complete kit you need to buy mosquito nets and rain cover .
